Becoming an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau is an honor not accorded to all businesses; because not all businesses meet eligibility standards. LifeStorage, Chicago self storage provider is pleased to announce that it has met all BBB standards and is now an Accredited Business since April 2010.

“Accreditation in the BBB is by invitation only” says Steve J. Bernas, president & CEO of the Better Business Bureau serving Chicago and Northern Illinois. “And only those businesses that meet our high standards, and pass the review process are approved by our Board of Directors.”

As with all businesses that are accredited by the BBB, Life Storage has committed to the BBB Code of Business Practices. The Code is a comprehensive set of policies, procedures and best practices on how businesses treat consumers. These standards call for building trust, embodying integrity, advertising honestly and being truthful. Bernas adds, “To maintain their Accreditation a business must be transparent, honor their promises, be responsive to their customers, and safeguard their privacy.”

Outer Banks Realtor Dorie Fuller Earns Certified Property Manager Designation

Village Realty Vice President, Dorothy H. Fuller earns her Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation.

Dorie” Fuller graduated from Roanoke College with a degree in Business Administration in 1981 and moved to the Outer Banks in 1983, working in both mortgage and real estate markets. She married Webb Fuller, recently retired Town Manager of Nags Head, and they raised three children here at the beach. In 1992, she accepted a position in property management with Village Realty and was promoted to General Manager of the firm in 1995 which segued into her current position as Vice President.

Dorie enjoys downhill skiing in the wintertime but her passion is running. She has participated in several half-marathons on the Outer Banks including the Annual OBX Marathon held in November.

The CPM designation required completing seven courses with topics ranging from leasing, facility maintenance, financial analysis, management plan skills assessment (MPSA) and a certification exam. Dorie joins Bob Oakes, President of Village Realty as currently the only two Certified Property Manager® designation holders on the Outer Banks.
