John Robert Powers modeling school fashion student Ishmam Hodges, 19, of Sacramento, said at the annual New York Model of the Year won iPOP ! (International Presentation of Performers) model competition. John Robert Powers School offers fashion modeling, acting, singing, and professional and social etiquette training programs to help students the confidence and skills they need to succeed in modeling, television and film developing, and theatrical careers. iPOP! become the “must go” event for today’s rising young performers, with more than 1,500 talented young people from across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom to compete. The weeklong event was held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Times Square in July 2nd-5th.

iPOP!, Isham has been busy meeting with casting directors and modeling agents and plans to move to Los Angeles in the coming months.
