Afterburner, Inc.’s ‘The Debrief Imperative’ Released July 4 2011 by Fast Pencil Publishing

Afterburner Inc.’s “The Debrief Imperative” helps business leaders identify root causes of failure and improve planning and execution.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 19, 2011

Afterburner, Inc., a leading corporate team building, training, and consulting firm based in Atlanta, Georgia, and the global authority on the Flawless Execution(SM) model is pleased to announce that it will release its fourth publication entitled The Debrief Imperative (Print ISBN: 9781607460404, eBook: 9781607465829). Co-authored by Afterburner CEO and founder, James D. Murphy, and Director of Learning and Development, William M. Duke, the seven-chapter publication about STEALTH(SM) debriefing thoroughly details the strategic ‘Debriefing’ component of the company’s proprietary Flawless Execution(SM) continuous process improvement model.

Afterburner’s Flawless Execution(SM) model addresses the four components needed to accelerate performance and drive alignment and accountability in business process execution, including Plan, Brief, Execute, and Debrief. This latest publication focuses entirely on the ‘Debrief’ portion of the model, and enables businesses to understand how debriefing helps to identify, address and prevent future root causes of failure. The element of strategic debriefing was developed and refined throughout decades of military aviation training and execution by the U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marines. This critical process of Flawless Execution(SM) encourages nameless and rankless participation in a process that identifies errors and critiques mission execution in order to develop lessons learned that can then be shared with the organization and rolled into planning for the next execution.

“Through my military experience, I recognized that this element of strategic debriefing could be applicable and invaluable to businesses and corporations throughout the world,” said Jim “Murph” Murphy, CEO and founder of Afterburner, Inc. “At Afterburner, we’ve implemented STEALTH(SM) debriefing within our proprietary methodology in order to coach and develop business leaders and managers on how to improve execution. We authored The Debrief Imperative in order to help companies close an all-too-common learning gap.” To learn more about Afterburner’s Flawless Execution(SM) model, visit http://www.AfterburnerConsulting.com or call 877-765-5607.
