[19/01/2010] United States is the only theatrical film in 2009 Christopher Isherwood novel of the same name. It was directed by fashion designer Tom Ford, who financed their own, because this is his directorial debut. The film stars Colin Firth as the main character 乔治福尔克 happy, happy British university professor living in Southern California 1962nd Plot Summary of Los Angeles on Nov. 30, which in 1962 after the Cuban missile crisis of the month, is a person 乔治福尔克 Na (Colin Firth), a middle-aged British university teachers who have struggled to find meaning in life, her story since sudden died eight months ago, his long-standing partner, Jim (Matthew Goode). Throughout the film depicts the day George survived him, and he was willing to commit a suicide plan, the night of his past and future, he seems to be empty. Before the dinner meeting with his close friend Charlie (Julianne Moore), he has a Spanish prostitute (Jon Kortajarena) and a young student (Nicholas Hoult) who fall in love with a like-minded George accidental contact.
